Finally just to prove that dreams do sometimes come true, David Wicks is returning to EastEnders! Well it’s not offical quite yet, but there are rumours flying around that the handsome love rat is on his way back to Walford and this time he’s staying!

We’ve heard that Enders bosses are preparing to sign actor Michael French on a long-term contract, and he might be on our screens this autumn! could David be coming back to win Carol’s heart once and for all? We love Masood and Carol’s cute romance, but there’s only one man for Mrs Jackson- and Michael French himself declared to All About Soap that there’s only ever been one woman for David.

With Ian uncovering David’s (second) letter to Carol as he refurbished the restauraunt and evil Derek gone nothings left to stop the school sweethearts finally getting together.
We’re not the only ones who’d be thrilled to see David back – daughter Bianca would be delighted if her parents reunited. But would Ian be pleased to see his half brother? Hmm, the jury’s out on that one!
