Born: Michael Clark in Bow East London 17th September 1962 and grew up in Epping Forest.

Michael made his West End debut in the 1985 revial of West Side Story

Trained at Mountview Theatre School (1992)

Was spotted for EastEnders while appearing in Les Miserables in the West End

Was chosen by Sir Richard Eyre to play Figaro in a Royal National Theatre workshop production of The Marriage of Figaro

Won 2004 Royal Television society Best Actor Award for Sons, Daughters and Lovers
