The leading man in Leicester Curve\u2019s Christmas show, The Sound of Music, has pulled out due to \u201cpersonal reasons\u201d.<\/p>\n
The theatre has announced yesterday(FRI) that Eastenders actor Michael French had \u201cwithdrawn\u201d from the show.<\/p>\n
For all forthcoming performances his role of Captain von Trapp will be played by Mark Inscoe.<\/p>\n
A spokeswoman for the theatre was unable to give any further details about Mr French\u2019s reasons for leaving the show.<\/p>\n
The Sound of Music runs until Saturday, January 17.<\/p>\n
